Besok 1 April, kayak tahun lalu saya "kena" dikerjain... Nah, supaya yang lain lebih tahu lagi tentang April Mop / April Fools silahkan aja baca info lengkap di Wikipedia.

#1: The Swiss Spaghetti Harvest
spaghetti harvest In 1957 the respected BBC news show Panorama announced that thanks to a very mild winter and the virtual elimination of the dreaded spaghetti weevil, Swiss farmers were enjoying a bumper spaghetti crop. It accompanied this announcement with footage of Swiss peasants pulling strands of spaghetti down from trees. Huge numbers of viewers were taken in, and many called up wanting to know how they could grow their own spaghetti trees. To this question, the BBC diplomatically replied that they should "place a sprig of spaghetti in a tin of tomato sauce and hope for the best." Check out the actual broadcast archived on the BBC's website (You need the RealVideo player installed to see it, and it usually loads very slowly).

If you're spending your time doing it, then it's important enough to do it right. A quality life is built through quality effort.
Put yourself fully in to every effort, whatever that effort may be. Even the seemingly trivial chores can set the stage for greatness when you put your love, attention and commitment into them.
Put yourself fully into every moment, whatever you may be doing. For each moment comes with its own unique opportunities.
Success depends just as much on the quality of your efforts as it does on the quantity and nature of those efforts. When you consistently put quality and commitment into what you do, then whatever you do will create real, lasting value.
Every moment, then, is a chance to move forward. Every effort, no matter how mundane or tedious it may first appear, can be a crucial step on the path to greatness.
Put your best into every effort. And all those efforts, the big ones and the small ones, will lift your life ever higher.

You put a lot of energy and effort into living. So on a regular basis, take time to fully experience your life and the world in which you live.
Spend some time that has no purpose other than to take in all the richness of which you're a part. Let go, for a while, of the need to analyze, to criticize, to judge and react.
Allow your thoughts to be still. Feel the wonder, the goodness, the beauty of simply being, and knowing that you are.
Experience life, not in order to gain any advantage or to impress someone. Experience life because the depth of its richness has no limit.
The more fully you experience and appreciate life, the more you'll find yourself needing less and having more. Experience life, and you'll clearly see how truly rich you already are.
Life is a gift so precious that it has no equal. Experience life, and give that gift to yourself and others.

You can wait and wish and hope for everything in life to be perfect. Or you can get busy making things better and better.
You can complain that life is unfair, and lament that the best in life has passed you by. Or you can get busy and make the very best of your life.
You can compile a big list of all the things you don't have. Or you can get busy and make full use of the good and valuable things you do have.
You can worry that there's not enough time to get everything done. Or you can get busy doing what you can with the time you have available.
You can let the setbacks and disappointments get you down. Or you can get busy filling your efforts with enthusiasm and positive determination.
You can sit and watch as life happens around you. Or you can get busy and make your life into something great.

Imagine for a moment that you could go to your local appliance store and purchase an achievement machine. How would such a device work?
First, you would need to supply it with a clear, specific, detailed description and image of what you wanted it to achieve. After all, you wouldn't want your achievement machine engaged in work that had no meaning to you.
Next, you would need to provide your achievement machine with plenty of good, quality fuel so it could do its work. You would also have to keep it properly maintained so it would stay in top working condition.
And in return, your amazing achievement machine would use its considerable power and flexibility to bring you the things you desire. As long as you were clear about what you wanted and supplied your goal achievement machine with care and nourishment, it would perform truly amazing feats.
Alas, you cannot purchase such a machine. But the good news is that you don't need one.
For you already have a spectacularly effective achievement machine at your disposal, in the form of your mind and body. The fact is, within you is the best achievement machine that could ever be imagined.
Give that achievement machine clear, detailed instructions along with plenty of quality fuel and careful maintenance. And it will surely find a way to reach any goal you set before it.

Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else
I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved
Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn't matter anymore
It's not always rainbows and butterflies
It's compromise that moves us along
My heart is full and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved
I know where you hide
Alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls
Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
[in the background]
Please don't try so hard to say goodbye
Please don't try so hard to say goodbye
Yeah
[softly]
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Try so hard to say goodbye

Someday, you keep telling yourself, you'll truly start to live. Someday you will take the very best of your possibilities and make them real.
Someday you'll escape from the meaningless distractions that only waste your moments. Someday you'll focus all your time and energy on what is really important.
Someday your longing to move vigorously forward will overcome the fears and insecurities that have caused you to hesitate. Someday you'll realize that you've always had the courage and the confidence to fully live, and wonder why you didn't start sooner.
Someday you'll laugh at the petty angers, frustrations, worries and annoyances that keep you from being all you can be. Someday you'll learn to let go and live.
Someday you'll decide that your life cannot wait any longer. Someday, you'll realize that living with richness and fulfillment is infinitely better than making endless excuses.
Someday you'll see that someday is here, that there's no reason to wait any longer. And there's every reason, here and now, to be fully alive.

Trus ketika surf ke situs orang Indo muncul tulisan :
The love of one's country is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border?
Please stop deface Malaysian Website.
Peace for All - Peace Malaysian.... Peace Indonesian....

It is surely a blessing that dreams do not instantly come true. For if your dreams were to immediately be fulfilled, you would never have the pleasure of dreaming them.
The anticipation of an achievement is an important part of the value of that achievement. Having something to look forward to gives enormous richness to life.
It is good to achieve your dreams, and yet it is also good to hold on to them, to nurture, refine and appreciate them before they have been reached. In so doing, by the time the dream is achieved, it has developed a real and profound meaning.
Working toward a goal is what makes that goal worth having. The fact that a dream has not yet been fully realized is what makes that dream so enticingly desirable.
Go ahead and dream big, wonderful, positive and intimately meaningful dreams. For they're the ones that will get you to move diligently and persistently forward.
Your dreams will not come true in an instant, yet they can instantly begin to provide focus, direction, and a driving force. You can then enjoy each and every moment as you steadily bring those dreams to life.

Tuesday the 8th sees the Melasti ceremony with Balinese people taking to the beach all over the island at auspicious places. For people living in Seminyak be sure to make a trip to Batubelig Beach (La Lucciola restaurant & Pura Petitenget) where hundreds of locals will celebrate Melasti which is a purification ceremony. The beach will be a sea of color and activity. This is a morning event and if you want to show respect wear a sarong and a sash, although no one will stop you from accessing the beach area without them.
Wednesday March 9th is Galungan, the biggest day of the year for most Balinese. This ceremony celebrates the victory of good (dharma) over evil (adharma). Every village in Bali will decorate the streets with large bamboo poles with symbolic hanging decorations, called penjors.
Thursday March 10th is Tawur Agung Kesanga, the welcoming ceremony for Nyepi, which is on the 11th. On the evening of Tawur Agung Kesanga villages parade efigies of monsters around to scare away evil spirits. Kuta Square and Puputan Square in Denpasar are the places to see the best monsters called ogah ogahs.
Friday March 11th is Nyepi, the ritual island wide purification. The deal is that after the ogah ogahs scare away the evil spirits from Bali, they return to see if anyone is around. Everyone must pretend they are not here so the evil spirits will leave Bali alone for another year. No one is allowed out on the streets or beaches, no lights, music, TV, or cooking is allowed. Those staying in hotels must stay inside and keep noise to a minimum. No shops or any businesses are open and the airport is closed allowing no flights in or out of the island.

Most things that end up being urgent didn't start out that way. Most urgent matters, had they been addressed when they first came up, would not have to be rushed.
Putting off a difficult task until later only makes it more difficult. To truly make your life easier, go ahead and take care of the hard stuff as early as you can.
When you put off something that needs to be done, you don't get rid of it. You merely make it more burdensome than it otherwise would have been.
Each time you procrastinate you deny yourself the opportunity to get the work done calmly and carefully, at a comfortable pace. Instead, you push the work to a time and place where it must be hurried.
That ends up creating needness anxiety and reducing your effectiveness. The far better choice is to go ahead and get it done before the need for urgency sets in.
What could you take care of today that would prevent you from having to deal with an urgent matter later? Go ahead, get it done, and bring more peace and positive purpose to your life.

Organized by Benjamin Adams.
The idea started with a post at my weblog BenjaminAdam. If you want details you can go there.
The short version? The May 1st Reboot is a community project that brings together web professionals from all over and encourages them to collectively launch redesigns of their sites on May 1st. The only problem is the entries are all extremely Flash heavy. Sure, Flash has its place -- but where's the CSS and web standards representation?
So this year CSS Reboot will attempt to bring together web professionals who design with CSS and standards in mind to launch their redesigns on May 1st along with all the Flash designers. This way we can both participate and show everyone just how great semantic, accessible design can be.

What do you do when nothing has gone as you had planned? Adjust your plans and get going again.
What can be done when problems and interruptions have drained away most of the time in your day? Step back and smile, knowing that you're wiser and more determined than ever to move forward.
For you've just experienced how precious your time can be, and realized how quickly it can slip by. Allow that realization to sharpen your focus, and then aim that focus on where you intend to go.
What's done is done. You are where you are.
The worst thing you can do is to fret about the time that's been wasted, for that will only add to the loss. The best thing you can do is to get up and get going again, with a fresh determination to make real progress.
Move beyond the time you've lost, and make use of the time you have. You'll soon be so far ahead that your little setback will quickly be forgotten.

The energy you devote to being annoyed brings you nothing of value in return. So choose to quickly let go of your need to be annoyed.
The time and energy you put into being offended adds nothing positive to your life. So decide to quickly let go of your need to be offended.
Winning petty arguments will do nothing to enhance your relationships. So find a way to quickly let go of the need to prove that you're right.
There are many things that can hold you back. But they'll hold you back only as long as you continue to hold on to them.
Each day is filled with plenty of valid reasons to be angry, resentful, jealous, frustrated, offended and annoyed. All that negativity can stop you cold if you allow it to take up long-term residence in your life.
So make the choice to quickly let it go. And free yourself to soar above it all.
