A positive force

Free to be happy

One of the greatest causes of unhappiness is letting other people tell you what will make you happy. For true happiness is not something you must chase in a particular way.

Happiness is yours when you choose it. Yes, it really is as simple as that.

When you let go of the notion that this thing or that thing will make you happy, something truly amazing happens. You are suddenly free to be happy without condition.

The good things you associate with happiness are not things that will cause you to be happy. Quite to the contrary, they are things that will come about once you allow yourself to be happy.

Putting conditions on your happiness keeps happiness at a distance away from you. Drop the conditions, and happiness is free to flow into your life.

Stop trying to figure out what it means to be happy or what will cause you to be happy. Simply choose to be happy, and you'll know exactly what it means.

Value deep within

Semua foto terhapus...

Sedih nih, karena semua foto-foto di Memory HP iPAQ 6365 ku *terhapus*. Da hampir 150 MB, dah banyak banget deh gambarnya dan banyak sudah men-"capture-moments". Tadi coba check harddisk USB ku, ternyata masih ada backup untuk beberapa file, file-file terbaru nya gak sempat di backup.

Jadi pengalaman deh ini... hiks3x...

Under the terms of the agreement, which has been approved by both boards of directors, Macromedia stockholders will receive, at a fixed exchange ratio, 0.69 shares of Adobe common stock for every share of Macromedia common stock in a tax-free exchange. Based on Adobe’s and Macromedia’s closing prices on Friday April 15, 2005, this represents a price of $41.86 per share of Macromedia common stock.

Satu lagi plugin untuk MovableType (software blogging yang saya gunakan) dari SixApart yaitu Workflow diluncurkan...

the features: Workflow lets you limit control of publshing rights to certain authors in your Movable Type installation, allowing other people on the system to act as editors and review entries before they're published. Administrators can control who has rights to any of these levels of permissions. Plus, authors can transfer ownership of a post to other authors and they'll be notified by email when the transfer happens.

That is not to suggest that you ignore the negative or pretend that it doesn't exist. Acknowledge and accept reality, then direct your energy toward the positive possibilities.

The realm of success

The biggest successes come to those who are not afraid to fail. When you can accept and live with the possibility of failure, then you're ready to go forward into the realm of success.
Failure is failure only when you let it stop you. Yet when you fear failure, it will stop you even before you ever start.

Instead, simply accept the possibility of failure and go on ahead anyway. You may well have some setbacks, but you'll also have the ability to deal with them as they come along.

Each difficulty you encounter along the way will, after you get beyond it, eventually add value to whatever you're doing. Each so-called failure is only temporary when you are committed to reaching the goal.

Any effort that produces real value will also have some risk. To arrive at the value you must live through the risk.

Where there's a possibility of failure, there is also the real opportunity for success. The more you can accept the possibility of failure, the more success you will achieve.

Thankful actions

Being thankful in your thoughts and words is a good starting point. Yet the real power of gratitude comes when you put it into action.

How do you put gratitude into action? By making the most of the good things you have.

When you hoard and hide away your blessings, they soon wither and die. When, on the other hand, you put them to use, the good things in your life grow and multiply.

There is no better way to show your thankfulness and appreciation for something than by using it for a positive, productive, creative purpose. Do that, and the value you already have grows even more valuable.

Whatever you have is not really yours unless you are truly thankful for it. To be truly and effectively thankful for it, make full and fruitful use of it.

Live with a thankfulness in your heart, in your thoughts and, most importantly, in your every action. All the good things you make use of will grow even better.

Gelang Karet Warna Warni

Sejak saya postingkan tentang informasi NIKE Baller ID di weblog saya, ada beberapa orang yang menghubungi saya dan menanyakan infonya. Dapat info dari rekan ku kalau di Jakarta itu out-of-stock, saking gak percayanya beberapa waktu yang lalu aku ke Mall Kelapa Gading di Nike Store; ternyata bener da habis kata yang jual. Trus nanya yang di Plaza Indonesia, mereka juga bilang da habis.

Pas mampir di Adidas Original EX aku iseng nanya "Wristband" nya Adidas, soalnya aku lihat pelayannya pakai yang warna abu-abu... trus dia bilang "sebentar lagi akan di jual". Kalau yang di Nike Kelapa Gading, pelayannya bilang "paling cepet 2 bulan, dengan design baru".

Trus waktu mo order LiveSTRONG via internet, harus beli sekalian 10 :) --- Tapi aku masih nyari Gelang Merah nya untuk dukung Pendidikan Anak-Anak Indonesia. Sahabat saya Stevi da pakai gelang yang warna merah itu.
