Pulang kantor hari jumat kemarin aku berangkat ke Bali, dan akan kembali besok senin. Cerita perjalanan lengkap akan aku update nanti ya. Aku mengisi blog ini dari rumah kakakku Jean di Puri Gading Jimbaran. Baru saja tadi, kembali dari Dreamland. Foto-foto perjalanan ke Dreamland akan aku postingkan nanti ok.

Ok, saja sementara. Next posting akan ada catatan perjalanan dan review pelayanan pesawat terbang, hotel dan yang sedikit unik di Bali.
Sudah pernah dengar : yang nyari kerja dengan jabatan "aneh" dan sebutan unik untuk "temannya" softdrink. Nantikan berikutnya.

In Perspective

When something goes wrong, even when several things go wrong at once, there are still many more things that continue to go right for you. One of the best ways to deal with any trouble in your life is to put it into perspective.

It's easy to put all of your focus on the problems because they often scream for attention. Yet no matter how intensely the problems assert themselves, you always have the power to put them in perspective.

Use the magnificent power of your mind to visualize all the many treasures and blessings in your life. When compared to all the good things, the problems will not be so overwhelming.

And when your mind is no longer overwhelmed with the problems of the moment, you begin to gain real power over those problems. By putting them into perspective, you put your problems at a distinct disadvantage.

It's common to respond to a sudden difficulty with shock, anger, frustration, dismay and a whole host of other negative emotions. Yet imagine what would happen if you were to respond with gratitude, not gratitude for the problem itself but rather for all the good things still present in your life.

With gratitude, your energy suddenly shifts in a very positive direction. With gratitude, what once seemed overwhelming becomes something you can confidently handle.

Decide to put your problems in perspective, and you'll find everything you need to get beyond them.

If you had complete control over life, things would always go your way. But you would never have the need to innovate, to adjust to unexpected, changing conditions, and to learn new ways of doing things.

If you had complete control over life, you would be responsible for deciding the nature of every moment, and the actions of every person. But just imagine how tedious and unfulfilling that would quickly become.

If you had complete control over life, your every desire would be granted the moment you thought of it. But it would thus be impossible for you to have anything to look forward to.

Thankfully, though there are many important things you can control, much of life is beyond your control. And it is that fact that is largely responsible for the richness and fulfillment you're able to experience.

Life does not always go your way. And in that truth is a world of magnificent possibilities.

Blinksale makes creating, sending and tracking invoices very simple. Going through the process of creating an account, setting up clients and sending the invoice takes just a few minutes. Blinksale isn't overloaded with a bunch of useless, confusing features. As a designer, I appreciate flexibility to customize invoices to my liking. For non-designers, Blinksale offers a nice array of standard invoice templates. The best thing about Blinksale is that it allows business owners to do one very important thing - get paid. These invoices will not only make it easy for you, it will also help your client. Blinksale invoices have a very professional look, but are also very easy to read and understand. When Blinksale becomes available to the public, it will be a must-have tool for business owners.

What could be improved?
Blinksale is in beta testing right now Now Launch, so I'm sure some of these kinks will be worked out. But one feature I was looking for is the ability to preview invoices which I have custom designed using CSS. I have been told by the fine folks at Firewheel that this is something their looking to change, however. Other than that, its killer!

Start Something New

The Contender

Setelah beberapa minggu (4 minggu tayang) menyaksikan Reality Show di RCTI setiap sabtu jam 23.00 WIB yaitu : The Contender, pada episode 16 juli sabtu kemarin : Seorang Petinju "Najai 'Nitro' Turpin" (petinju yang kalah di episode ke-4, telah tewas). Info & latar belakang kenapa Najai tewas bisa di baca di situs The Contender ya.

FYI, acara ini di Amerika sudah menyelesaikan 15 episodenya.

Mencoba MT 3.2 beta

Sekarang saya sedang meng-ujicoba Movable Type 3.2 beta pada situs ini. Lumayan juga interface nya yang baru.

Fantastic Four

Kemarin, hari minggu saya nonton film "Fantastic Four" di Kelapa Gading XII 21 Cineplex. Film ini bagus banget! Coba lihat sisi manusiawinya si "The Thing" ketika mencoba mengambil cincin kawin yang di lepaskan istrinya di jalan; karena tangannya besar banget (ber jari2x hanya 4), The Thing gak bisa mengambil cincin itu --- Mr. Fantastic mengambilkan Cincin nya kemudian ("The Thing" di tinggal istrinya karena tahu penampilan nya sudah 'berubah' ketika kena sinar kosmik) dan juga hanya The Thing yang gak bisa balik seperti semua. Wow...

Bisa kita lihat juga si "Human Torch" yang sok belagu ;) dan si "Invisible Women" (Jesica Alba) yang wuih seksi banget... Nah, film ini "recommended" banget deh untuk di tonton... Seru.
