Each day, there are opportunities to make use of the power of patience. As you strengthen your patience, so do you greatly expand the positive possibilities for your life.

Memulai Pelayanan di PT

Mulai hari, pelayanan di BPK Persekutuan Teruna telah dilakukan. Dan hari ini adalah hari pelayanan pertama di tahun 2006. Saya mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengajar sekolah minggu teruna (IMPT - Ibadah Minggu Persekutuan Teruna) di sektor pelayanan 5.

Firman Tuhan yang dibawakan oleh k'Vandi berbicara tentang "Yesus menyembuhkan di hari sabat". Hari ini yang datang melayani di sektor 5 ada tiga pelayan teruna yaitu : saya, k'Vandi dan k'Meis. Dan kebetulan sekitar 2 hari yang lalu : tuan rumah Kel Montung baru saja melangsungkan ulang tahun pernikahan yang ke-25. Jadi pas pulang melayani dapat souvenir. Thanks ya.

Ok deh itu saja yang bisa di bagikan. Salam Damai.

From each disappointment

It feels lousy to be disappointed, whether it is by other people, by circumstances, or by your own mistakes. And yet, in each disappointment there is also opportunity.

When a disappointment comes, acknowledge it and feel it for what it is. Then quickly step away from it and take a more objective look.

You'll discover that in the larger context of your life, that disappointment can have positive value. Though one door has been closed to you, many more have just been opened.

From each disappointment you can gain knowledge, motivation, perspective and a more clearly defined purpose. From each disappointment, you can learn much about life and about yourself, much that will help you move on ahead.

When life lets you down, there is value to be found in that disappointment. Quickly get back up and begin to live that value.

When you go forward, you will occasionally stumble. And when you choose to positively recover from those stumbles, you'll move more quickly ahead.

Expand your perspective

When you focus only on yourself, you severely limit your options. When your thoughts are centered only on you, those thoughts cut you off from a whole world of possibilities.

It's all too easy to become frustrated, disillusioned, angry and bitter when your own perspective is the only one you consider. Your own narrow concerns can seem painfully overwhelming if you give all your attention and energy to them.

The way out of such pain and frustration is to expand your perspective beyond yourself. Genuinely take other people into consideration, and your positive possibilities multiply dramatically.

Pay attention to the concerns of others, and you'll gain valuable insights that otherwise would not be available to you. Think, act and live beyond yourself, and all sorts of new, positive possibilities arise.

When the concerns of your own ego fall away, an enormous amount of energy is set free. When you are no longer restricted to your own narrow perspective, a whole new set of magnificent opportunities will open up to you.

Seek to make a difference not merely for yourself but for all of life. And many of the limitations that once hounded you will suddenly be gone.

Take the time

Take the time to offer a word of encouragement, and your world will be a brighter place. Take the time to give a helping hand to someone in need, and your own troubles will suddenly shrink away.

Take the time to work through a challenge, and you'll discover a whole new level of positive opportunities. Take the time to be curious and aware of the world around you, and you'll see magnificent possibilities in every direction.

Take the time to love, to smile, to wonder, to play, and to find out who you really are. Take the time to fully live in each moment as it comes along, and life will be rich indeed.

Finished : Age Of Empires III

Setelah bermain hampir 2 minggu dengan game Age of Empires III akhirnya saya telah menyelesaikan semua champaign nya. Dari Morgan Black sampai Kanyeke... Game ini seru banget deh... ada jalan ceritanya.

Games yang mempunyai detail 3D yang sangat menarik. Buat pengemar game strategy : AoE III layak untuk di mainkan.

Minggu Sibuk

Bener-bener lagi sibuk dengan kerjaan sampai-sampai terlewatkan beberapa hari ini untuk mengisi entry blog. Guys, aku memang sibuk karena ada beberapa project yang sedang aku kerjakan. Padahal setiap hari akses internet :)

Dari yang buat design baru untuk web ini... dari kerjaan freelance... dan dari pelayanan... wuih... kalau lagi datang banyak kerjaan ya gini deh... kalau lagi gak ada ya pasti lebih banyak entry dari blog ini yang saya tulis...

Kalau da gak sibuk mo jalan-jalan ah... Ada ide ke mana ? Bunaken ? Bali ? Lombok ?

Sense of purpose

There is a powerful, meaningful, compelling vision with which you can personally connect. Choose to open yourself to the things that are the most profoundly meaningful to you, and to fill your moments with powerful purpose.

A strong sense of purpose will give you energy and keep you going past the challenges, distractions and temptations that come along. It will make a positive difference in everything you do.

You have the power

Rarely is anything ever as difficult as you first imagine it to be. More often than not, the greatest difficulty you must overcome is convincing yourself to get started.

Imagine what would happen if you could simply stop fighting with yourself and could just go ahead with whatever needs to be done. The great and empowering fact is, you can.

What if all the energy you put into avoiding effort was suddenly redirected into productive action? It can happen much more easily than you think.

What if you stopped making excuses and started making real progress? The good news is, you don't have to just imagine it.

You have the power to get yourself started. You have the power to overcome all those complaints and worries, anxieties, doubts and excuses that exist only within the confines of your mind.

For you control your mind, and your mind directs your actions. Make use of that awesome power, and truly great things will quickly begin to happen.

So much to do

Do you have so much to do that is seems overwhelming? Then stop thinking about how much there is and start getting it done.

Feeling overwhelmed is merely a state of mind that you choose. And just as easily as you can choose it, you can choose to let it go.

A new day, a new month, a new year dawns and it can make you feel like time is quickly slipping away. But in fact, time comes to you just as quickly as it moves past.

And that means that each moment you get the opportunity to make a difference. Each moment, the best thing you can do is to make full and meaningful use of that moment.

That is how you get things done. Moment by moment, little by little, small tasks build into great accomplishments, and accomplishments build into a life with real fulfillment.

You don't have to tackle everything all at once. Just do what you can, when you can, filling each moment with positive purpose and action.

And what once seemed overwhelming will quickly become a source of real and lasting fulfillment.

You Can

You can learn, and adapt, and adjust, and persist. You can decide what must be done and take the action that will make it happen.

You can set ambitious goals for yourself and then do what is necessary to reach them. You can dream incredible, meaningful dreams and then make them real.

You can stumble a dozen or a hundred times and keep getting back up until you stumble no more. You can come up against tough, stubborn challenges and then find a way to work through them.

You can live each moment with integrity in a world that seems not to always value it. You can experience real joy and spread it to others.

You can create value and appreciate beauty. You can follow your highest vision.

As the old year draws to a close and a new one begins, keep in mind that you can do all this and more. You can and, if you choose, you will.
