Change your mind

category : share

Have you ever changed your mind? If you're like most people, you do it often.

It takes no great effort to change your mind. And yet the consequences of doing so can be significant.

At any given moment, you have the option and the ability to change your mind. By using that ability in a positive way, you can move your life powerfully forward.

If, for example, you've already decided that the day has been wasted and nothing is going to get done, you can change your mind. And then you can set about to create real value in the time that still remains.

If you've concluded that the situation in which you find yourself is hopeless, you can change your mind. If you're thinking that nothing you do will make a difference, you can change your mind.

In fact, anytime you realize that your thoughts are working against you, choose to change your mind. Get your own thinking on your side, and you'll have a power ally indeed.

Impossible becomes real

category : share

Impossible is nothing more than a concept that exists in the mind. Impossible is really just someone's opinion.

Many things that once were considered impossible are now commonplace. Think of all the things you use in your daily life that could not have even been imagined a couple of centuries ago.

What does it really mean when something is thought to be impossible? It usually means that, so far, no one has figured out how to do it.

Given sufficient time, commitment, effort, discipline and purpose, the impossible becomes real. What was once unreachable for anyone can become available to everyone.

Are there things you don't even dare to dream because you assume they are impossible? Rise above your limited perspective, go beyond your limiting assumptions and realize that the impossible regularly becomes real on a daily basis.

Choose to follow your highest vision, in each moment, in each decision, in each thought and action. And leave the concept of impossible far, far behind you.

Bro' Henry Selamat Jalan...

category : general

A EULOGY for Bung HENRY:
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you
And whispered "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we wathced you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Although we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Laying loving hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

The treasure within

category : share

You are the person you choose to be. So choose to be the person who fulfills and brings to life the values you hold most dearly.

Today is your opportunity to express yourself to the world through the life you live and the actions you take. The challenges of this moment provide a rich canvas upon which you can paint the highest vision you have.

Listen to the yearnings of your heart and keep pointing yourself in their direction. By focusing on what is truly meaningful, you will cause much real value and richness to spring forth from the life you live.

Choose to glide right past the shallow concerns that hold so many people back. Keep your eye on the big picture, and create new positive substance as each moment passes.

Go beyond merely appearing to be happy, and dive into the authentic joy of making a positive difference. Give the best that you have to life, and you'll find each day to be even more fulfilling than the last.

There is a treasure within you that is yearning to weave itself into the fabric of life. Go ahead and let it come shining through.

The value of failure

category : share

Failure is a normal and natural part of achievement. When the failures come, learn from them and then move quickly along.

Failure is not the worst thing that can happen. The worst thing that can happen is to let the fear of failure prevent you from ever doing anything.

If your top priority is to avoid all failure, then you will surely fail. For only by accepting and living with the possibility of failure can you succeed and achieve.

Failure is not the end of the world. It is merely another step on the pathway to fulfillment, wisdom and achievement.

Though you would never intentionally set out to fail, when failure does come the best thing to do is to gracefully accept what has happened. That will enable you to gain the most positive value from it.

Then you can move right along to the next step, and soon you'll be a long way past the failure, filled with more wisdom and experience. Let failure be, and achievement will surely come.

Doa Anak

category : general , share

Bapa kami yang di surga,

Kami beryukur kepada-Mu karena memiliki orangtua,
saudara laki-laki maupun perempuan,
serta kawan-kawan yang mendidik kami
selama masa perkembangan kami.

Semoga mereka menyadari penderitaan mereka,
dan bisa menerimanya,
sehingga tidak menjadikan mereka
kurang menghargai diri mereka sendiri.

Kami mohon ya Tuhan,
penuhilah hati mereka bukan dengan kegelapan
pengalaman pahit di masa lalu,
tetapi penuhilah dengan terbitnya hari esok
di mana mereka akan melanjutkan
perjalanan hidup untuk mencari persahabatan,
kedamaian dan pemenuhan diri di dalam Engkau,
Allah yang Maha Kuasa.

Amin

This beautiful moment

category : share

Take in the beauty of this moment and let it fill you. But do not try to hold it.

For as soon as you seek to possess it, the beauty is lost. When you grasp it too tightly, you lose the ability to experience it.

Let this beautiful moment flow toward you, and then let it flow away from you as the next moment comes to take its place. Allow the beautiful experience of life to be born again and again.

The real value of this moment is in the way you live it. Live it fully, lovingly, gratefully, and there is no need to hold on to it, for the best of it will always be a part of you.

Each moment offers its own special treasure. Let go of your need to judge, to analyze, to possess, and simply experience the wonder that is yours right now.

You are free in this moment to live, to create, to give, to grow. Lovingly open your eyes to the abundant possibilities, and dive gently into this beautiful moment.

Be the answer

category : share

You can't depend on some expert or guru to provide you with the answer you seek. Instead of looking for the answer outside yourself, choose to be the answer by the way you think and act.

You are the world's most knowledgeable expert on your own life. Put some of that expertise to good use.

Certainly others can give you advice, suggestions, inspiration and expanded perspective. Yet it is up to you to choose what is best for your own unique situation.

The most valuable course of action is not to be found by plugging yourself into someone else's formula. The success you will achieve is the success you work to define on your own terms.

Speak with your own voice, think with your own mind, and act according to your own vision. The expert advice that will be most beneficial is the control you exercise over the choices you make.

Live in such a way as to be the solution to the problems you face and the answer to the questions you ponder. And be the fulfilled, successful person you are destined to be.

A better place

category : share

Each day is filled with opportunities to make the world a better place. In any situation there are things you can do to make life more positive and fulfilling for everyone.

You may not always receive recognition for doing so, but that doesn't really matter. Because you, and everyone else, will still benefit from the positive contributions you make to the world.

When you are greeted with rudeness or indifference, give back genuine courtesy, respect and understanding. Though it may seem more natural to be rude in return, that creates no value for anyone.

When someone hurts or disappoints you, find a way to respond with forgiveness, kindness and peacefulness. Though you have experienced pain, take care not to prolong that pain.

Ironically, the best thing you can do for yourself is to move beyond your own selfish impulses and concerns. Seek to make the world a better place for everyone, and in so doing you'll discover the most effective ways to benefit your own life.

With your thoughts, your actions, your attitude and your spirit, you can make the world a better place, every day, in every situation. Get in the habit of doing just that, and you'll savor the rich rewards.

It's easy and pleasant to sit back and watch the world. It's even better to jump in and participate.

There is so much you have to offer. There are so many beautiful gifts you have to give.

Weave the thread of your own special perspective into the fabric of life. Become an active part of your world and all will be richer for it.

Get up, get out, get going and get involved. Every day, in all sorts of ways, there are opportunities to make a difference in your unique way.
