Think it through

If you're faced with an emergency, then by all means take action right away. Just keep in mind that emergencies are relatively rare, and in most situations you'll be far better off when you take the time to get it right.

A smart response will almost always take you further than a quick, ill-considered response. Invest the time to think it through, and that investment will reap great rewards.

Netherlands "Log-off"

Tim kesayangan saya Netherlands telah 'tersingkir' dan harapan untuk menjadi Juara World Cup 2006 sirna sudah... Saya nonton di Rumah bersama Rio, Roelof dan Alan... Sebelum pertandingan di mulai, saya agak ragu... biasanya Belanda kalah kalau gak pakai baju homenya "Oranje"... Eh, kejadian deh...

Kenapa Ruud van Nistelroij tidak dimasukan van Basten ya ? Itu yang kami pertanyakan bersama-sama saat Nonton bareng tempo hari... padahal kami berharap di Babak ke 2, setelah Belanda beruntung dengan jumlah pemain lebih banyak dari Portugal --- bisa memasukan Ruud dan bisa mengejar dan memenangkan permainan.

Nah, itulah sepakbola... it's fun...

Accept and move forward

If everything works out the way you planned, that's great. If things don't work out as planned, that can be great, too, because it opens up new possibilities to you.

Instead of constantly worrying that something will come along to disrupt your plans, remind yourself that you can adapt to whatever may happen. Instead being paralyzed by the fear of what you cannot control, be confident in knowing that even the most difficult situations harbor positive possibilities.

Learn not to fight against what has already happened or to be stopped by what might. Instead, choose to accept what is and to use it as a springboard for magnificent success.

Hari ini pas 16 tim berhasil masuk ke babak knock-out. Pada babak ini tidak ada hasil seri, kalau sampai perpanjan waktu masih scorenya sama --- maka kita akan melihat aksi heboh dari Penjaga Gawang.

Nike Nederland Jersey & Cap

Ternyata mencari dan membeli Baju kesebelasan Belanda yang di buat oleh Nike di Jakarta, seru juga... Saya beli Jersey Home nya Netherlands, sold out di berbagai tempat (cikini, kelapa gading dan PIM) --- akhirnya dapat juga ukuran L di Pasaraya Grande... Sekalian dapat juga Topi Belanda...

Kata kakak saya, di Nike Store Bali --- masih banyak stock nya...

Lumayan juga untuk nonton bareng sama temen-temen... nah, Jersey ini adalah koleksi aku yang ke-2 setelah seri Piala Eropa yang lalu... Senang juga Belanda bisa melaju ke Babak selanjutnya setelah mengalahkan Pantai Gading 2-1.

Mulai nanti malam akan dilaksanakan game ke 3 di setiap Group... ada yang masih menantikan kepastian lolos kebabak selanjutnya ada yang harus memastikan menjadi juara group. Selamat menonton... enjoy the game...

Suka Cita & Duka Cita

Saya mau bersyukur pada TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS karena hari ini Ibu saya berulang tahun yang ke 60. Kami sekeluarga bersuka cita atas penyertaanNya di dalam kehidupan Ibu kami.

Dan disaat ini pula keluarga besar kami berduka cita karena tepat tadi subuh jam 00.45 WIB, Oma kami Ibu Lien KARWUR-LOMBOAN telah kembali ke rumah Bapa di surga. Oma kami ini berpulang pada saat beliau mau berangkat tidur... Beliau sempat malam kemarin menghadiri kebaktian di dekat rumah tante ku. Oma kami tidak sakit, beliau saat wafat berumur hampir 86 tahun.

Hari ini saya belajar bahwa YESUS KRISTUS itu baik, saya dapat melihat kedua orang yang saya cintai mendapatkan berkat : Mami bertambah umur dan khususnya Oma "memasuki" kehidupan yang lebih baik bersama BapaNYA. Pada kesempatan ini saya mau mengucapkan terima kasih untuk semua pihak yang telah membantu. Semoga TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS selalu memberkati kita semua. Amin.

Brownies Kukus Amanda dan Nescafe Coffeemix

Dua hari kemarin saya menonton World Cup FIFA Germany 2006 (kebalik-balik ya nulisnya), ditemani dengan kopi dan kue. Kopinya itu kopi dalam kemasan sachet produksi Nescafe dan kuenya di bawa dari bandung oleh k'Lineke : Brownies Kukus Amanda.

Wah enak banget... suatu kombinasi yang seru dalam menonton sepakbola...

Nah ada yang sudah pernah nyoba Nescafe Coffeemix (yang katanya diproduksi khusus untuk "lidah" orang Indonesia) ? Bagaimana menurut kamu ? Enakan mana sama Indocafe Coffeemix ?

Trus mengenai Brownies Kukus Amanda, ada sih yang jual di jalan utama Taman Galaxi tapi harganya jadi 30 ribu... mahal euy... Nah ada yang tahu gak sih harga asli nya Bronies Kukus Amanda... soalnya jujur aku gak pernah beli langsung ke bandung - semuanya oleh-oleh saja..

Setahu saya hari ini German sudah dapat "lolos" ke babak selanjutnya setelah mengalahkan Polandia 1-0. Group A menunggu pendamping nya nih...
