Saya mau mengucapkan syukur pada TUHAN YESUS atas penyertaannya kepada BPK PT GPIB di MUPEL Bekasi yang telah menyelesaikan kegiatan PAKET 2007 (hari ini : day 02).

Dilaksanakan di GPIB Menara Kasih Bekasi, dari pagi sampai jam 15.00 WIB dan perlombaan hari ini adalah : VOCAL GROUP & MADING (Majalah Dinding).

Berikut hasil lengkapnya untuk PAKET 2007 BPK PT GPIB MUPEL BEKASI 2007 (Juara 1):

Basket Putra : GPIB Harapan Kasih
Basket Putri : GPIB Gloria
Futsal : GPIB Jatipon
Vocal Group : GPIB Galilea
Mading : GPIB Galilea

*** Yang membawa pulang Piala Bergilir & Juara Umum PAKET 2007 yaitu : BPK PT GPIB Galilea (sebagai informasi, Galilea berhasil untuk kedua kalinya membawa pulang gelar Juara Umum; Tahun 2005 & Tahun 2007 --- Tahun 2006 Juara Umum nya Gloria) :) Selamat ya BPK PT GPIB Galilea.

Catatan Penting
---------------
01. Untuk pertama kali, BPK PT GPIB jemaat "Pondok Ungu Permai" (PUP) mengikuti secara lengkap di setiap kegiatan PAKET dan dalam kepanitiaan. Tercatat bahwa
PUP adalah peserta ke-2 yang sampai lebih awal di Menara Kasih **dan-juga** PUP berhasil mengondol juara 3 FUTSAl --- We're proud of you all.

02. Di tempat yang sama pula (MK) : Galilea berhasil mengondol "Juara Umum" PAKET --- Salut...

03. Mau tahu makanan resmi Panitia juga Peserta (padahal gak janjian loh) : Nasi Bungkus Padang --- 1 Jemaat tetep KFC :) update: disponsori ya...

04. Mau tahu transportasi resmi Peserta (beberapa jemaat loh) : KOASI (seperti Mikrolet di Jakarta / julukan "Taksi" di Balikpapan; warna nya cokelat; daihatsu carry; 1 mobil bisa 12 orang) mau tahu kepanjangan KOASI ??? KOASI = Koperasi Angkutan Bekasi

05. 400 pin kegiatan, terbagi *habis*: Peserta & Panitia & Juri semua menerima --- Lihat aja di foto ya...

06. Ketua BP MUPEL Bekasi, mendukung keikutsertaan MUPEL BEKASI pada HUT PERAK BPK PT GPIB di 2008

07. First Cake yang tadinya diberikan kepada Ketua BP MUPEL Bekasi, oleh beliau diberikan kepada salah satu wakil dari Jemaat Pondok Ungu Permai... Setuju... Salut

08. PF Ibadah Penutup : Vikaris Henry (dari Menara Kasih) --- Seru Kotbah nya... Mantap... Thanks Bung Henry...

09. Pada perlombaan mading, terjadi *diskualifikasi* pada peserta lomba...

10. Jam 15.00 WIB semua sudah siap untuk kembali ke jemaat masing-masing...

11. Informasi dari rekan panitia dari MK, terjadi kemacetan pada parkiran dikarenakan membludaknya peserta PAKET (kegiatan ini dimulai bersamaan dengan Ibadah Minggu MK).

12. Wakil dari Teruna Jemaat Immanuel & Anugerah tidak hadir dalam Ibadah Penutupan PAKET 2007. Info saja; ruangan Ibadah lantai satu sudah penuh sesak oleh peserta lomba, panitia, supporter dan orang tua serta pelayan dari jemaat-jemaat. Wow...

About The Film
John Newton (played by Albert Finney in Amazing Grace) wrote the words to one of the most beloved hymns of all time between 1760 and 1770, while working as an evangelical pastor. Son of the commander of a merchant ship, Newton was captain of a slave ship for many years, until he underwent a dramatic religious conversion while steering his vessel through a storm.

Repenting and regretting the misery he had inflicted on the thousands of human cargo he had transported across the Middle Passage for many years, he devoted his life to the Church, and wrote the lyrics to many hymns which are still popular today.

In 1780 Newton left Olney to become rector of St. Mary Woolnoth, St. Mary Woolchurch, in London. There he drew large congregations and influenced many, among them William Wilberforce. Newton continued to preach until the last year of life, although he was blind by that time. He died in London December 21, 1807.

PAKET 2007 ; Day 02

PAKET (Pesta Aneka Kreasi Teruna) 2007 BPK PT GPIB MUPEL Bekasi, besok hari akan dilaksanakan di GPIB Menara Kasih Bekasi. Kalau minggu lalu pertandingan FUTSAL dan BASKET, Minggu ini diadakan perlombaan Vocal Group dan MADING (Majalah Dinding) setelah makan siang akan diadakan Ibadah Syukur sekalian pembagian hadiah.

Make joy

You are worthy of the best in life. It's not because anyone tells you so or gives you permission to be, but because you know deep down that you are.

You have every reason to feel great about the good and valuable things you have done. You have the ability to expand on that goodness, on that value, on your own special gifts.

Making mistakes

Mistakes are valuable reminders that you do not know it all. And as such, they provide golden opportunities to learn.

Mistakes are a sure sign that you're making progress. For when you make mistakes, it means you are putting forth effort and having an influence.

Mistakes are certainly no cause for shame. The greatest achievements require you to work your way through the greatest errors and misunderstandings.

Mistakes are not to be feared. For the same actions that enable you to make a mistake also put you in a position to correct it.

When you're willing to accept the possibility of mistakes, you're able to follow the best opportunities. When you become experienced at handling mistakes, you'll be skilled at creating real value.

Success comes not from avoiding all mistakes, but from learning to find a positive way forward no matter what may happen. With each mistake, get over it, get wisdom from it, and become even more effective than you were before.

Sedang melakukan beta testing untuk aplikasi gratis sejenis Google Analytics. Kesan pertama keren juga (mirip Mint - tapi gratis!).

Yesterday Batam - Today Bali

Yup, sekarang sudah di Bali - Kemarin masih di Batam dan Jakarta. Catatan perjalanan di Batam berikut informasi tempat makan dan lokasi pembelian oleh-oleh dan cerita singkatnya akan saya postingkan setelah berada di Jakarta. Begitu pula catatan perjalanan di Bali.

Besok ke Batam lalu Bali

Sehubungan dengan tugas pelayanan (membantu Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen GPIB), mulai besok 9 Februari sampai 10 Februari saya akan berada di Batam (berangkat dengan Garuda Indonesia); dalam rangka peluncuran website YAPENDIK GPIB. Mohon dukungan doanya.

Sehari setelah kembali dari Batam (11 Feb), saya akan ke Bali selama tiga hari - kembali pada tanggal 13 Feb. Dalam rangka mengunjungi keponakan-keponakanku. Akan naik AirAsia.

A positive light

Give yourself a moment

When there's something that needs to be done, give yourself a moment to do it. When there's a decision that must be made, give yourself a moment to think it through.

When life demands a response, give yourself a moment to find the most positive and meaningful one. When someone is explaining something to you, give yourself a moment to truly listen and to understand.

Life is made up of many moments, one right after another. The big outcomes, results and achievements depend on what you do with all those little moments along the way.

With each moment you can choose to let it pass or to let it bring you down. Or, you can decide to make good use of that moment with positive purpose, value and love.

How many times have you looked back on your life with regret, and wished you had given yourself a moment to do what could have easily been done? Now is your opportunity to avoid such future regrets by recognizing the great value in each moment.

When life is asking something of you, give yourself a moment to make it right. And when you add up all those moments, you'll find you've made life great.

Kamis ke Senin

Sejak hujan turun dengan derasnya di Kamis, dan kemudian menjadi banjir di Jumat pagi... Senin siang banjir sudah surut... Saya bersyukur, akhirnya listrik sudah dinyalakan dan waktunya untuk bersih-bersih...

Kemarin malam pas tidur ketika dengar hujan saya terbangun... prepared for the worse...
Beruntung pas bangun pagi tadi, memang tidak banjir hari ini...

Berapa tahun yang lalu, banjir paling parah "hanya" semata kaki ku di kamarku dan tahun ini mencapai 30cm... wow...

Siap-siap merapikan baju dan ruangan...

Selamat Datang Banjir

Itu kata yang saya sebutkan ketika air pelan-pelan masuk ke halaman rumah dan sesaat kemudian rumah sudah kemasukan air... malam harinya sekitar 20-30 cm air merendam dalam rumah... wow... sampai saat ini, itulah gambaran banjir yang paling hebat dialami keluarga orang tua saya selama tinggal di daerah Bekasi.

Saat saya menulis blog ini, saya baru saja pulang dari rumah sahabat saya untuk men-charge baterai laptop dan cellular... Naik becak pun harganya melonjak mulai 20rb s/d 50rb sekali jalan...

Banjir di perumahan ku

Kembali kawasan perumahan ku di daerah Bekasi selatan terkena Banjir (siklus empat tahunan), setelah semalaman hujan yang tidak berhenti --- paginya banjir sudah ada.

Tidak heran juga karena beberapa kawasan di jakarta juga kena banjir.

Ya gitu deh...

Pada Ibadah Syukur HUT BPK PT GPIB ke 24 & Ibadah Awal Tahun Pelayan Pengurus PT se-Jabodetabek dan Banten yang diadakan tanggal 30 Januari di GPIB Immanuel Jakarta kecuali K'Sonny yang berada diluar kota, semua personil Dewan Teruna hadir di acara tersebut.

The authentic you

Life's most beautiful and fulfilling moments are the most sincere and authentic ones. When you are being yourself, that is when you are at your best.

Why do you so quickly latch on to someone else's idea of success, while at the same time ignoring your own authentic dreams? Why do you so easily dismiss your own instincts and intuitions?

Others may claim to be experts in this field or that. Remember, though, that you are the expert when it comes to your own life.

Listen to the longings of your heart. Pay attention to that little voice inside of you.

For that voice knows you well. It knows what you can accomplish, what brings you joy, and what things you most highly value.

When something feels right, that's a reliable sign that it is. Choose to live each moment as the authentic person you are, and from those moments you will create much real and lasting richness.
